Obituary information submitted by Dave Martin, who added these comments:

Keith died from AIDS-related complications. I spoke with his mother, Wanda, by phone in early 2004 after finally locating a phone number. She verified cause of death. She told me that she was holding his hand when he passed.

Keith was my first lover, and I acquired HIV from him in September 1986. I met him at The Crossing, a bar in Bryan, Texas - it was an offshoot of the bar of the same name in Austin. Keith had been a mobile home salesman by day, and worked the lights for the drag show at the bar at night.

Sadly, I never had a photograph of him. The only photo I have is of his grave marker, which I took on his birthday in 2005. I like to believe he’d be amused by the pair of phalluses on his gravestone.
